Kaiser Permanente: Select California Health Care Laws Enacted in 2023

Kaiser Permanente has a new resource available that summarizes selected health care laws that were enacted in California in 2023. The resource covers the following bills which represent a small portion of the total bills signed into law by Governor Newsom:

  • AB 118 - Budget Act of 2023: Health
  • AB 948 - Prescription Drugs
  • SB 496 - Biomarker Testing
  • SB 525 - Minimum Wages: Health Care Workers
  • SB 621 - Health Care Coverage: Biosimilar Drugs
