New Import New Hire Rates Added to bpQuote

HealthConnect has rolled out a new enhancement that will make it easier to show the correct Current Rates for New Hires that have started with your clients since the last time they renewed. 

As you may know, each Carrier has their own rules on how New Hires are rated. Some Carriers use the New Hire’s age as of the Group’s last renewal, while others use their age at the time they enroll on the plan. With HealthConnect’s enhancement, you can now enter the Enrollment Date for all New Hires and the system will automatically import their correct Current Rates based on each Carrier’s rule.

Just add the New Hire to the census & add their Enrollment Date to the Import Current Rates page and click on the Import button. Below is a screenshot of the Import Current Rates page highlighting the New Hire Enrollment Date field and the New Hire guidelines for the two Current Carriers shown.
