Recent Q4 2019 Rate Reductions

Aetna’s OAMC/EPO and all Health Net plans had Q4 rate reductions that were recently reflected in bpQuote. Health Net’s rate reduction also impacts Health Net plans within CaliforniaChoice and Covered California for Small Business. The following table shows the carrier, average rate reduction by plan type, and the date the change was made in bpQuote:

If you generated a 10/1/19 – 12/31/19 effective date proposal for any of these carriers before the “Date Changed” mentioned above and the client is considering one of these options, then we suggest a requote of the proposal to view the lower rates.
