UHC: Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust
UnitedHealthcare has partnered with the National Restaurant Association (NRA) and the California Restaurant Association (CRA) to offer exclusive health care pricing and solutions for NRA/CRA member businesses through the Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust (NRA Trust).
Overview
The NRA Trust is available for groups with 2-99 employees and the following SIC codes only:
- 5812: Eating Places
- 5813: Drinking Places (alcoholic beverages)
- 7011: Hotels and Motels
- 7032: Sporting & Recreational Camps
- 7041: Organization Hotel and Lodging Houses, on membership basis
The NRA Trust is sitused out of the state of Illinois as a Single Large Employer/Bona Fide Association and offers:
- UHC Illinois plans
- UHC’s Choice Plus National Network
- Composite rates
Groups with 2-19 enrolled employees (and virgin groups with less than 100 employees) will be individually underwritten.
Groups with 20-99 eligible employees will be underwritten through GRx. GRx calculates group's risk based on de-identified prescription history.
Membership & Fees
All groups must be members of the National Restaurant Association.
A 2.05% service fee will be added to the invoice for all NRA Trust members. The service fee will be a separate line item not included in the medical premium. The fee funds the Trust expenses.

Please note, the agent (and agency if commissions are paid to the agency) must be licensed in Illinois.
