Below is information on B&P's Large Group BrokerPicks program. For FAQs on B&P's Small Group BrokerPicks, please visit our Small Group BrokerPicks FAQs page.
B&P’s Large Group BrokerPicks can be used for any service that benefits the employees, such as online enrollment, HSA or FSA accounts, a wellness program, etc.
B&P’s Large Group BrokerPicks is calculated based on the number of medical enrolling employees in the Large Group plans written through B&P multiplied by 12 months.
B&P’s Large Group BrokerPicks varies by carrier:
B&P will determine the number of enrolled employees approximately 30-45 days after the effective date.
The check is issued once invoice is received and B&P confirms the number of medical enrolled employees invoiced is correct.
Yes, B&P requires an invoice to pay the Large Group BrokerPicks.
No, B&P will make the Large Group BrokerPicks payment once a year if the group is active and with B&P.
B&P will calculate the number of medical enrolled employees once each year. Any employees that are added to the plan during the year would not be reflected until the renewal. Similarly, any employees that were terminated from the plan would not be reflected until the renewal either.
B&P has Large Group GA contracts with Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net, and Kaiser Permanente. If both medical policies are written through B&P, then both would be eligible for our Large Group BrokerPicks. If only one medical policy is written through B&P, then only that policy would be eligible for our Large Group BrokerPicks.
B&P will recalculate the number of medical enrolled employees about 3 months after each renewal and issue a new Large Group BrokerPicks subsidy provided a new invoice is received.
No, B&P’s BrokerPicks is in addition to any carrier subsidies.
