Rates 

UnitedHealthcare announced a RATE PASS for April 1, 2017 effective dates including no changes to plan details or underwriting. Rates are available for quoting. 

Medical 

  • ​HMO: RATE PASS 
  • PPO: RATE PASS 

Dental: Minor rate increase 

Vision: Minor rate increase 

April 2017 Rate Guide 

The April 2017 Dental and Vision Rate Guides are available below. The Medical Rate Guide is pending, but it will be posted to the ​b&p website as soon as it becomes available.

​Out-of-State Networks 

UnitedHealthcare is the first carrier to extend narrow network plan options to out-of-state employees. The Choice Simplified portfolio offers all networks to California employees and now out-of-state employees may take advantage of the Core and Navigate plans as long as the plans are CA situs and the member resides in one of the following areas: 

  • ​Core: Available in AK, DC, FL, IL (Chicago only), IN (3 NW counties only), MD, NJ, NY, OR, VA, or WA. 
  • Navigate: Available in all states except AK, CT, DE, HI, ID, MA, ME, MN, MT, ND, NH, NM, NV, SD, VT, WV, or WY
