Covered California for Small Business (CCSB) is proud to announce NEW features coming in 2023. With the launch of the enhanced MyCCSB Portal in 2022, we are committed to providing Employers added benefits with ease. Stay tuned to learn more about what we have in store for the New Year!
In addition, Covered California for Small Business will continue to offer expanded coverage options to include 3 Contiguous Metal Tiers & 4 Metal Tier options! With these expanded levels of coverage, you can offer Employers more health plan options to find the coverage they want at a price that fits their budget. See below to learn more about how you can offer Employers more ways to maximize their health plan options at no additional cost.

Covered California for Small Business
Exclusive Tax Credit for Small Business
With tax deadlines approaching, eligible small businesses can qualify for federal tax credits of up to 50% on premiums to help pay for the cost of providing health insurance. This exclusive tax credit is only available through Covered California for Small Business. Qualifying groups can apply this tax credit on their Federal Tax Return.
For Small Business Clients that:
- have fewer than 25 full-time equivalent employees
- pay an average wage of less than $56,000 a year
- pay at least half of their employees' health insurance premiums
